The muddy walk. The new favorite toy. The place they always choose to nap. A pet photo journal can begin with one photograph and a few words. Add more as their personality, routines, and adventures grow.

LOVE WORTH REMEMBERING
Create a dog memorial, a cat memorial, or a remembrance page for any companion you miss. Their photographs, life story, and the memories shared by people who loved them can come together in one place.
A pet tribute does not need to read like a formal obituary. Begin with their name, a favorite photograph, and something that made them unmistakably themselves. Add stories at your own pace, whether you are remembering a recent loss or a companion from years ago.
Share a public memorial link with family and friends so they can visit and leave a memory, a message, a flower, or a virtual candle. These gestures give people a way to express their care when finding the right words is difficult.
Explore memorial tributes that bring photographs together with music, and find the companions remembered in the SoulePets galaxy. Their star is part of this online space: a place to return to their page and the story behind it.

A LITTLE GUIDANCE
There’s no right time, and no perfect way to begin.
A living pet profile is a digital photo journal for the life you share. Add photos, everyday updates, birthdays, and milestones, from a favorite walk to a new habit that makes you smile. Write a few words about their personality and return as their story grows. Family and friends can follow their journey and leave loving notes.
An online pet memorial is a digital tribute and remembrance page for a dog, cat, or another companion who has passed away. Bring together photographs, their life story, and the memories you want to keep close. Share a public page with the people who loved them so they can visit, leave a memory, or offer a gesture of remembrance through the actions available on their profile.
Yes. Share your pet’s public memorial link so loved ones can visit and use its memory and remembrance features. Living pet profiles offer loving notes and ways to celebrate life together. To invite someone to help with a profile, use Manage family access in My Pets. Access roles determine what invited family members can do; sharing a link alone does not grant editing permission.
Yes. Choose “Living” when adding your pet to start a page for their ongoing journey. Keep photographs, birthdays, everyday adventures, and stories together in an online pet scrapbook. You do not need to wait for a special occasion: a name, a favorite photo, and one small moment are a lovely beginning. Start their living pet profile.
Choose “Create a memorial” and select “In remembrance.” Begin with your pet’s name and a favorite photograph, then sign in to save and manage their page. Add their story, species, and any dates you wish to share, and use the gallery for more photo memories. You can return to complete their tribute at your own pace. Begin your pet’s memorial.
Start with how they joined your family, a favorite game, a nickname, or the way they greeted you. One specific memory often says more than a long biography. You might describe their funniest habit, a place you visited together, or what you miss most. There is no required length or right way to feel. Our pet loss and remembrance articles offer further reading when you want it.
Yes. Creating a living pet profile or memorial is free, including signing up, adding photos and their story, and sharing the page with family. There is no time limit on a free profile. Optional extras, including Premium, digital flowers and candles, star dedications, and Forever Star tributes, are separately priced. They are not required to create or keep a memorial. Review subscription options and each extra’s displayed price before choosing it.
Choose “Start their journey” and select “Living” when adding your pet. Begin with a name and a favorite photo, then add updates to their page as life happens. A funny moment, a birthday photo, or a few words about today is enough to get started. Start a living pet profile.
No. SoulePets is for the companions who matter to you. You can keep a living pet’s photographs and stories together or create a remembrance page for a companion you miss. The page is about their individual story, rather than fitting them into a particular kind of pet.
Yes. Sign in or create an account to save and manage your pet’s page. Use the same account when you return to add photos or update their story. Starting a page from an invitation does not mean a memorial has already been published for you. Our Help Center explains how to get started.
Open My Pets and choose Manage family access for the profile. Invite a family member and select their role: admins can help manage permitted profile details and invitations, contributors can add family moments, and viewers can view without editing. Adding someone to the family tree does not give them account access. Sharing a private profile’s link does not change its access settings. See the Help Center for guidance.
Review the photos and words on the page before sharing its link. For a public memorial, choose details you are comfortable letting others see and ask permission before including someone else’s personal story or photograph. See our privacy policy and sharing help for more information.
A specific, kind memory can mean more than trying to find perfect words. If the family has shared a memorial, follow their lead: leave a thoughtful message or a small gesture of remembrance. Our pet loss articles and community offer places to read, reflect, and hear from other pet families.
No. Start with their name, a favorite photo, or a few words that feel right today. You can return to add photographs and stories when you are ready. A living pet journal can grow with everyday life; a memorial can grow as memories come back to you or loved ones share their own. There is no deadline for completing their story.
WORDS, WHEN YOU NEED THEM
After the loss of a pet, you may want to tell their story, support someone you love, or simply hear from people who understand. Explore pet loss and remembrance articles, or visit the grief support community at your own pace.
