Charlie Bennett

In loving memory of Charlie Bennett.

Their Story

Charlie was a beagle, which means he was a nose with a dog attached. He read the backyard every morning like a newspaper, howled harmony with every passing fire truck, and once tracked a dropped cheese cube through two rooms and a closed door. He camped in the Smokies, stole an entire rotisserie chicken at a family reunion (unrepentant), and famously found Dad's missing car keys in the garden after three days — a feat still spoken of at every holiday dinner. Ten years was not enough. It never is. But every one of them was loud, muddy, and completely full of joy.
